Stories and Songs
I perform a wide range of roots music styles on guitar, banjo, and steel. A typical set might include a slide guitar piece, a fingerpicked Piedmont blues, or a driving tune in the style of Merle Travis. I take inspiration from the many traditional musicians that I've met over the years, including John Jackson, John Cephas, and Kinney Rorrer. I also enjoy listening to the OGs of American roots music from my large collection of early recordings on 78-rpm records.

Collaborations

Gregg also performs with numerous other Richmond area musicians. He has been the guitar player for Blues trio  Sheryl Warner and the Southside Homewreckers for more than twenty-five years and is a founding member of the Broad Street Ramblers.
